Sometimes, right in the middle of a hot week, the breeze gives you can amazingly spectacular weekend. The glorious weather this weekend was something to write home about. Brad and I and puppy went for numerous breeze filled walks, where the sun was warm on our backs and dried leaves danced circles around our ankles. I was so joyous for the occasion I wore my hoodie and mittens. This weekend was also one for throwing open the bedroom windows before wrapping yourself tightly in all the blankets in sight and sleeping warm all night with sounds of the wind wisping around right outside your window.

The cool weather has made me a bit homesick. I envy all the back roads of Bucks County with their trees changing color and their early evening geese flying southbound overhead in perfect formation. I miss homemade hot apple cider with every speckle of sprinkled cinnamon. I miss the giant roaring bonfires and and the seasonal harvested fields. I miss the cold star filled nights.

Florida actually all of these things if you look hard enough. This weekend I found roads to walk along with great company, dried leaves to crunch, snuggle buddies, and a comforting cup of coffee. Florida's a lot like home if you have the family to spend it with. I am sure glad my family here is top notch and willing to put up with my autumn excitement!

Oh! Also while I have your attention I want to add that I found a Farmer's Market this weekend. You can bet all your peanut butter that I will be there next Saturday!
