New Year's Resolution Update:

Wow, don't hold back 2010! Geez Louise! I already have some family health scares and some trying moments. I knew there were going to be a few things from last year that would shadow 2010, but I had no idea that January would be the month to really get the ball rolling. Time to take that deep breath, close my eyes, and sort it out.

I have been finding more and more strength within myself and it is making me very happy. Nothing evidence wise of my resolutions have been seen, but worry not, when they are resolved, you'll know. ;)

"I've been thinking a lot lately about taking chances. And how it's really just about overcoming your fears. Because the truth is, every time you take a big risk in your life, no matter how it ends up, you're always glad you took it." - J.D. (Scrubs)

Happiness is: feeling helpful at work.

A big thank you to everyone who has been so kind and honest about my new hair cut. I am not going to say anything more negative about it. I have found a cute way to wear it that is not puffy, big, or masculine. I will dream of future days filled with full bangs and long hair. haha.

Dear Blog,

Alright, alright already. I'm sorry. I haven't been a good friend to you. Let's not point fingers. The thing is, I am back and with lots to say.

Happiness is: An awesome shirts from an awesome dude named BRAD! Oh coffee addition look at the attention! haha.

I'd had the best dream last night involving this amazing city (San Francisco). There was nothing going on in the dream, just me walking along a sunlit flower fragrant sidewalk up to a house with an iron gate at the walkway. When I got to my red front door I took out a small notebook from my back pocket and etched "Don't Postpone Joy" into the door along with numerous other etched phrases and pictures.

Once in the house the rest of my dream was just walking around and looking at what was my apartment. The hardwood floors, the thick curtains that were opened to old wooden windows, old lamps, and record players, an amazing olive green couch from what seemed like the 70's, a perfect kitchen straight out of the 50's, and my bedroom that was strewn with polaroid and papers all being gently fluttered by an open windows warm breeze. Tell me how you don't wake up smiling after that?
